British Council Lauds Rishikul
Education is one of the best means to build trust between people around the world. The cultural relations among countries can unite people and societies of different nations and develop in them the feelings of love and respect for each other’s diverse cultural values
To strengthen the spirit of Internationalism in Education, British Council keeps encouraging schools to add international dimension to their school curriculum through various programmes in which students and teachers participate actively in many activities like connecting classroom online, e-language, video-conferencing and exchange programmes to interact with students and teacher partners in foreign countries for getting acquainted with the culture, education and life styles of each other’s countries
Rishikul has played a leading role in bringing 12 schools in the ambit of British Council School Programmes and also in making them aware about the terms and conditions of ISA, British Council conducts different International Activities, especially exchange programmes with the purpose to train the students for becoming global citizens of the world in future
For its pivotal role as an active participant in the above-mentioned programmes British Council had conferred the title of BCSA on Rishikul last year (2010)
The British Council Director personally lauded Ms Reema Sharma, BCSA Coordinator, for her outstanding leadership to stand first among all coordinators. She was awarded a laptop along with a laser beam jockey as a memento for her achievements when she attended British Council’s annual conference from 07 November to 08 November at Chennai
